My Music

My new album ‘Here and then’ introduces Marcus Aurelius’ reflections on twelve significant current issues, such as self-awareness, self-control, justice, truth and respect for nature. For this album I crafted music featuring diverse genres: from folk to rock and from jazz to blues, including a delicate bossa nova and even a monastic chant. I did this because all songs were composed using the Roman philosopher-emperor’s writings as lyrics and wanted to show how contemporary and relevant Marcus’ words sound when interwoven with different musical styles.As I am no longer a young, pretty face, please pay attention to the message rather than the messenger.I am the finger that's pointing at the sky: don't look at the finger, gaze at the starry night.If you would like to support my music, please visit My Support page to choose one of the many ways you can do that.
